Cyanotype on Glass Workshop
Cyanotype is a photographic printing process in shades of blue. This process was developed by scientist Sir John Herschel in 1842. We propose that participants in this workshop create blue images on glass with digital negatives or with the silhouettes and shadows of dried plants.
Wet Plate Collodion Workshop
Come and learn this delicate art of photography with us. This 12 hour workshop will be divided into two days. In this Wet Plate Collodion workshop, the participants will learn all the steps of this unique process. We will explain the entire history of this process, the materials needed, the chemistry involved and the safety measures required to develop this technique. At the end of the workshop, the participant will take home 4-5 glass or metal plates hand made by themselfs.
